It’s Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas!

Hello everyone! I hope you are all filled with the holiday spirit! I FINALLY got in the mood to take down my Fall decor and start decorating for Christmas. After all, it IS December 7th! I am normally done decorating by now. Still a little bit more to do but I thought I would share what I have done so far. Lots of photos! :)

Here is my doughboard for the holidays. A welcoming pineapple surrounded by bountiful fruits~

This is a very special decoration, the ring with the candle and bells were my Grandma’s (my dad’s mother) I can remember this in her house and also in my house growing up. My Mom would hang it every year. Now my Mom & Dad have given it to me. I will cherish it always, it brings back many wonderful memories~

I think it looks so cute tucked into a wreath~

  5. So lovely Sarah! all of it.
I'm just getting to my decorating today myself. I have no excuse as my home is very small I should have had it done in one day! Not going to stress-I'm almost finished and I too, want to sit and enjoy the season and move on to some baking.
    Holiday blessings,

  35. How wonderful to have all those family treasures! Does your mom decorate like you? Is that where you got the knack for all your wonderful decorating ideas?

I love the tree centerpiece for the table. I wanted to do that this year but I don't have a tree that small and time got away from me... I can't believe Christmas is 4.5 days away!

Your barrel by the fireplace and the red wooden tote look wonderful full of greens and I'm sure they're both fun to change out with the seasons. I love the big rusty bells and greens in the wooden bowl and I love the simple look of the crocks and garland above the cabinets. Okay... I just love it ALL, hehe! I adore all your decorating!
