Hello everyone! I hope you are all filled with the holiday spirit! I FINALLY got in the mood to take down my Fall decor and start decorating for Christmas. After all, it IS December 7th! I am normally done decorating by now. Still a little bit more to do but I thought I would share what I have done so far. Lots of photos! :)
Here is my doughboard for the holidays. A welcoming pineapple surrounded by bountiful fruits~
An Olde World Beeswax Santa~
The Horlick’s jar was given to me by my Mom, it is a family heirloom. I just LOVE it. I filled it with yummy wrapped peppermint candies~
My Mom gave me an old milk bottle too. :)
A Red Wing pitcher, also give to me by my Mom. I cherish every one of these treasures her and my Dad have given me.
My table centerpiece, a simple tree in an old wooden bowl. I just hung dried orange slices on it.
Here it is in the morning sunlight~
With the blinds closed~
Our tree upstairs. 9 feet full of our family memories. A picture still to come of our 7 1/2 foot tree in our basement. Filled with more memories!
Love this sign~~ *wink*
An old barrel my Mom gave me! Perfect for an arrangement of greens & berries by the fireplace, I will have fun changing this up every year!
This is a very special decoration, the ring with the candle and bells were my Grandma’s (my dad’s mother) I can remember this in her house and also in my house growing up. My Mom would hang it every year. Now my Mom & Dad have given it to me. I will cherish it always, it brings back many wonderful memories~
I think it looks so cute tucked into a wreath~
The shelf in our foyer~
In our basement~
My red wooden tote I use every year. I don’t think I have ever done the same arrangement in it twice!~
Above our kitchen cabinets. Just crocks, jugs, greens and lights. No snowmen or Santas. Simple~
I hope you all enjoyed my little Christmas tour. Thank you so much for stopping by! I will be back with more soon. After I get it done. I am off to do some more decorating now. I want these totes and boxes put away so we can just sit back and ENJOY!
Have a great day!!
Until next time, take care.
~Sarah~

How wonderful to have all those family treasures! Does your mom decorate like you? Is that where you got the knack for all your wonderful decorating ideas?
ReplyDeleteI love the tree centerpiece for the table. I wanted to do that this year but I don't have a tree that small and time got away from me... I can't believe Christmas is 4.5 days away!
Your barrel by the fireplace and the red wooden tote look wonderful full of greens and I'm sure they're both fun to change out with the seasons. I love the big rusty bells and greens in the wooden bowl and I love the simple look of the crocks and garland above the cabinets. Okay... I just love it ALL, hehe! I adore all your decorating!
