:: A Lovely Reminder :: More Hearts & Birthday Gifts ::

Happy Saturday everyone! Hope you are all having a fantastic day! Laundry update…..still knee deep in dirty duds! But little by little I am finding my way to the bottom of the baskets! As you can see…my weekend is exciting! Not!

I just wanted to pop on and give you all a little reminder :: Be Mine Bonanza :: starts tomorrow! It promises to be an inspiring and fun event! I can’t wait to see what everyone has come up with! Thanks to Kindra from At Home With K for hosting it! She will be sharing as well…she is so creative so tune in for some “lovely” tutorials!

Thought I would share another Valentine goodie I got. I visited Alison at her shop Primitive Treasures yesterday. I bought this wonderful quilted heart, along with a few other things. Still finding homes for my other goodies….more pictures to come!

I knew right where it was going when I bought it~

Our home is definitely full of love and hearts!

Did you notice my tin punch lantern? That was what I bought with my Birthday money from my sweet Mother and Father-in-Law! I have wanted one forever and now I finally have one! I love the way the light shines through the punch design and onto the wall! I ordered it from Irvin’s. I am enjoying it, such a warm and cozy glow!

One more treasure that I bought with some Birthday money from my sweet Mother and Father. Last weekend my hubby took me to an antique shop and I found this amazing salt glazed utensil crock. It had no price on it so I asked about it and the guy said “how about $15.00”? And needless to say I said “YES”! I love the color and character of it! Happy Birthday to me! Thanks Mom and Dad!

Have a wonderful weekend, the dryer just buzzed again….!

A little chuckle for the day~~~

My theory on housework is, if the item doesn't multiply, smell, catch fire, or block the refrigerator door, let it be.  No one else cares.  Why should you?  ~Erma Bombeck

Until next time, take care.

  10. I love that you decorate for Valentine's Day. That is very sweet. I absolutely love hearts and have many myself. I have them scattered throughout the house and I look at them everyday. I know they aren't prim but I love them anyway!
