Hello everyone! We are back from vacation! We had a wonderful time! Thanks to my Sister Jen and my Mom & Dad for staying with the kiddos so that we could get away! We appreciate it more than they will ever know.
Suitcases are unpacked, laundry is done & put away, the house is in great shape, so I am feeling pretty good! Time to make, bake & decorate some more Spring salt dough fillers! Multiple batches are on the agenda for tomorrow!
But first, I wanted to share some trip pictures with all of you. Well, A LOT of trip pictures. We spent 4 nights and 5 days in Las Vegas. One of my most favorite places to visit! I LOVE all of the “hub bub” and neon lights!
We got to our hotel (Bellagio) & there were chocolates on our pillow~
Room Service. What a treat~
Even the butter was beautiful~
Heading out for our first night on the town, but on our way out I had to snap some photos of the Chinese New Year in the Conservatory of the Bellagio~
It was SO beautiful, the pictures don’t do it justice!
For all of you “foodies” out there you will enjoy these photos of wonderful & very beautiful desserts also at the Bellagio.
I chose the Cheesecake. Delicious~
A white, dark and milk chocolate fountain~
Yum-O~
Huge flowers made of chocolate~
Here is a collection of ceiling photos, some of them are so ornate & beautiful I couldn’t resist pointing my camera UP!
The ceiling in the lobby of the Bellagio~
Upside down umbrellas, also in the Bellagio~
The Cosmopolitan~
The Wynn~
The Encore~
The Venetian~
Paris~
Caesars Palace~
The Bellagio~
I hope I haven’t bored you with all of my photos…just so you know…this is only a fraction of the photos I took. Over 1000+ I spared you from viewing the entire collection! My husband took some gorgeous panoramic shots too!
I will leave you with my favorite attraction. The Fountains at the Bellagio! They are one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen. The combination of the water dancing in time with the music & the mist on my face…what can I say, I LOVE everything about them!
While we were there we saw the Cirque Du Soleil show KA at the MGM. It was beyond words. KA is my fourth Cirque show, cannot wait to see another one. Talk about being transported to another world….For a couple of hours you are completely mesmerized. I highly recommend seeing one if you ever get the chance!
Getting away from the every day chores and happenings is so good for the mind, body & soul. I am recharged and ready to start on some more Spring salt dough fillers. I will be making a blog post soon as to what sets will be available!
Thank you all for stopping by, I am glad you could come on this little virtual Vegas trip with me! If you have been to Vegas, then you know exactly what I am talking about..all the lights, attractions, shows etc. And if you have never been maybe this gave you a little glimpse of what it is like! For me, it is like a whole other wonderful world!
SO nice to come home to all of the “we love you, we missed you”…and all of the big hugs from the kiddos! Nice to get a way, but there truly is no place like home!
Until next time, take care.
~Sarah~

ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you got to have a wonderful fun vacation.
We have been to Vegas 3 times but not since the last of the 5 new hotels were built.
New York was the last NEW hotel...so it has been some time. I don't think i'd recognize it.
Your photos are wonderful. I think my favorite were the desserts. How could you choose just one!!!!
Thanks again for sharing.
