Hello everyone! As promised I am back with a couple exciting candle reviews & a giveaway! Village Candle has given me the honor of reviewing two scents from their new Kitchen line.
Country Pine Cone & Cider Donut were delivered to my home. I couldn’t wait to get the box open, lift off the lids & smell them!
The jars are great & the matte black lids are so nice! These creamy colored candles will compliment anyone’s decorating style. The labels are GORGEOUS! You can see the entire Kitchen line by clicking HERE. There isn’t a label or scent you won’t love.
The hardest decision for me was which one to light first. Cider Donut it is! For me this candle is about memories. When I opened the lid & smelled it cold I knew it was right up my alley. It smells sweet, warm & cozy. The label itself takes me back to the State Fair. Every Summer my Mom & Dad would take my best friend and I to enjoy the sights, sounds & smells. No trip was complete without a visit to the mini donut stand. Watching those tiny donuts go down the assembly line, drop into the fryer & then continue on down the conveyer belt to get a delicious coating of yummy sugar. I remember eating them hot, right out of the bag! This candle took me back there. I have said it before and I will say it again, it is so wonderful when the scent of a candle can transport you back to a special time & place. Those are memories I will never forget. And thanks to Cider Donut I can bring those memories into our home anytime I want.
Yum-o!
Next up, Country Pine Cone. So many notes going on in this candle & they are all good! The label is what drew me to this candle. It is so beautiful. I love the photo, it goes perfectly with my decorating style & it gives me such a comforting, homey feeling. It fills our house with a scent perfect for anytime of year, not just for winter or holiday time. I know so many of you love to burn your pine scented candles all year long, this one is perfect with a blend of balsam fir, eucalyptus, sparkling mint, clove, cedar wood twigs, smoky birch & rich musk. This candle sets a scene in my mind of a log cabin home, man’s best friend curled up by the fireplace, a warm supper on the stove & a fun night of movies & board games. It just evokes the scent of a perfect cozy evening spent with family & friends.
Did I mention that I LOVE the labels?!
I am so excited about this new Kitchen line & cannot wait to try more scents! One more thing I can tell you is that the Village Candle standard of quality remains the same with this line as with all of their candles. Each of their candles gives off a strong throw that carries throughout your home, an amazing clean, clear wax pool, an all around superior product that you won’t be disappointed with.

ReplyDeleteHello Sarah~
ReplyDeleteI've been a follower for some time now ;-) I'll go to FB and follow their page. They both sound lovely, but as soon as I read the "Cider Donut" it too evoked memories from my younger days as my grandmother always made homemade cake donuts, most often in the fall and it was such a treat!
Fond memories of fall in New England, a warm donut and crisp air~
Thanks for the chance to win one of these great VC candles!

Sheila

ReplyDeleteSarah, I'm so glad that you have teamed up with Village Candles, you are the perfect saleswoman for them! I no longer burn candles as I use my old wax from Scentsy and tarts for when I make my waxed crafts... but if I did still buy candles, I would be headed to their website right now to place an order!! =]
