Makeover Memory Lane

Hello everyone! Happy Wednesday! I haven’t posted since my Birthday! Yikes…I didn’t realize that it had been so long! It has been busy around here. Plus I have been trying to get caught up on housework and trying to get better organized. We all know that those things fall by the wayside when we are on our computers too much right?

I thought it would be fun to take a trip down “Makeover Lane”. I don’t know about any of you, but I am getting the itch to do makeovers again. And I do most of those in my garage. Because I learned real quick that doing them in my kitchen makes for a VERY dusty kitchen. All of that sanding and finishing doesn’t go over too well in the house. And my kids don’t enjoy the smell of stain too much! So hurry up Spring so we can get out there and be creative again! I have an entire shelf in my garage full of goodies just waiting to be transformed!

So here we go, just recapping a few..well quite a few of the makeovers I have done over the past year. Enjoy!

Have a wonderful day everybody! Until next time, take care. ~Sarah~

  6. Sarah~
Such awesome things and look at the money you saved! I too am doing some makeovers and would love to hear from you about the steps you take in distressing the wood...I am new to this, but have confidence that it will turn out good...so please let me know what you do in a step by step procedure to get the "olde" look. I had some awesome buys at GW just yesterday and I am so pumped to see how they turn out!
    Have a great day!
    Blessings~

  7. Sarah,
All of your makeovers are fantastic. I have a few myself that I'm itching to get at but like you said, too messy in the house & way too cold outside. I guess one of these days I will have to put the heat on in the barn & get busy. Thanks so much for sharing.
    hugs,
    Pam

  9. All of your makeovers have been inspiring Sarah. Its so nice to see what others make over. Sometimes it gives me an idea for something that I may otherwise pass up missing its potential all together.
I look forward to seeing what else you have to thrill us with. You do great work girl!
    Hugs,
    AMY

  10. I remember all these makeovers well and you are always an inspiration to me! Since we don't have a good thrift store around here I plan on hitting a lot of yard sales this spring. I can't wait to find some goodies and make them all primmed up too! Thanks for showing all those pictures in one spot-you are so awesome!

  11. Great walk down memory lane, Sarah! I know what you mean about having the itch to start working on makeovers again! We have kitchen cupboards that we want to start working on now that Chuck is feeling a better, but it's too darn cold out!

    Take care,
    ~Kris~

  12. I am right with ya as far as the weather is concerned. We don't have a garage so I have to use the back deck for makeovers. I have so many to do but have to wait for warmer weather!
