:: My Trip To The Walker Homestead ::

Hello my friends! I have finally had some time to sort through the oodles & oodles of photos that I took on my vacation out East! Today I am posting about my trip to the Walker Homestead Simple Treasures From The Past ~Antiques & Primitive Goods show!

What a wonderful event! I kept pinching myself in disbelief that I was actually there. It was surreal to say the least! Seeing with my own eyes what I had only seen in photos! The atmosphere, the people, the antiques & primitives were all truly amazing!

I am letting you know ahead of time, there are going to be A LOT of pictures in this post. So grab your cup or coffee, hot tea etc. sit back & I hope you enjoy! Good, good times!

The vendors brought some of the most beautiful items I had ever seen! Most of which couldn’t fly home on the plane with me. Boo Hoo! But boy, did I have fun looking!  Come take a walk with me…….

Are you still with me???……. I told you there was so much to see & these aren’t even all of my photos! Walker Homestead is a magical place! What a day…but wait! There’s more!

What made this day even more special was meeting Bonnie in person! We have known each other online for a few years. We both co-owned a magazine together, we have now both left the magazine & taken different paths. Only wonderful & exciting opportunities lie ahead for each of us!  What a joy to finally meet her in person!  Unexpectedly dressed like “twins” no less! :)

Paisley was the pattern of the day!

:: Paul Revere Punched Tin Simmerblend Warmers at Village Candle ::

Good Monday morning everyone! It’s October 3rd already, I have a feeling that this month is going to fly by! But for now, I am going to enjoy every minute of the leaves changing & all of the other beautiful sights, sounds & smells of Fall while I can. We are supposed to have gorgeous weather this week!

As most of you know I burn candles all year long, but Fall is when I really love to have those warm, cozy, comforting scents aglow in our home. Whether it is a lit candle or a Tart /Simmerblend melting in a warmer. It is all about making a house a home. Making it welcoming & cozy.

I wanted to let you know that Village Candle sells Paul Revere Simmerblend warmers/punch tin lights. I have a few of these in our home. The light & the glow that they give off is wonderful. Especially with the punched tin design, the light just dances on the wall in a beautiful pattern.

Here are just a few of the ones that they sell on their website ::
